The Crown’s Game #1
An interesting concept and a fun story, but I overall felt like the writing was a bit lacking. I really enjoyed the plot, but the style felt a bit too juvenile and the characters lacked depth and believability. I’ll give it a thumbs up for a first novel, which stands well on its own, but I hope the author’s writing improves with further experience.
